Ever heard of the saying “You get what you paid for”? Well this is very true when it comes to the cheapest insurance you can get for your pet.

Sure the premiums are very small, and you get some coverage for your pet, but you have to look and WHY it is so cheap:

- only pays for certain things

- doesn’t cover on going ailments

- only covers something once, then you can’t claim on it again

This is just for starters. If you go for the cheapest, it will cost you more in the long run.

Usually has the highest deductible:

Ever insurance has a deductible, even pet insurance. And the cheaper your premiums are, the higher the deductible is. Meaning that even though it will cover somethings, it might be cheaper not to pay the deductible, it really depends on the cost.

So for the most part, you will still be paying for out of pocket most of the time, except for the REALLY big stuff.
